Warner Bros. Discovery Sues Amazon, Accusing It of 'Lawless Employee Shopping Spree' Warner Bros.
Discovery has filed a lawsuit against Amazon, alleging that the tech giant engaged in a "lawless employee shopping spree" by poaching one of its top executives, HBO veteran Pia Barlow.
At the center of the dispute is Barlow's employment contract with HBO, which was not set to expire until 2027.
