John's, Newfoundland, has been charged with nearly 60 offenses related to creating images using artificial intelligence (AI) that featured minors who had never consented to such use.
These images were then posted online, leading to the identification of 19 victims so far. This case is one of the first instances where law enforcement has specifically addressed AI generated child abuse material.
